Girl Scout Adult Fun Weekend
April 6 to 8, 2018

Come to Stevens Ranch to relax, meet new friends, see old friends, take some enrichment workshops, and have a good time. What you do and how much you do is up to you.
This event is open to any registered adult in Girl Scouts in any council area. Whether male or female, leader or not, parent or not. Husband/wife/couples will be put in a cabin together.

Options are:
Weekend (Friday night to Sunday) – lodging, 4 meals, activities, snacks, supplies and a patch for $ 50*
Saturday only (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.) – 3 meals, activities, snacks, supplies, and a patch for $ 45*
*If you register by January 1, 2018, you receive a $ 5 discount*

Enrichment workshop descriptions
Archery – Have you ever shot a bow and arrow? You will learn some basic archery skills and practice shooting.
Crafts – Painting – Learn how to easily paint your own picture to take home and display.
Crafts – Fairy Light - Come make a cutout fairy light to take home with you.
Crafts – Wind Chime – Make a wind chime from bamboo to take home with you and enjoy.
Essential Oils – Learn the basics of essential oils and how they can improve your health and life.
Yoga – Come learn some yoga poses and how yoga can improve your life. For any level of experience. Please bring a yoga mat or towel.
Outdoor Cuisine - You will cook your own lunch using Dutch ovens, propane stove and fire. Lunch time will be spent eating what you cooked and cleaning up (Weather and burn ban permitting).
Songs – Learn some new songs and how to teach them to your Scouts.
Discovering Stevens Ranch Nature – Take a hike and learn about the plants of Stevens Ranch.
Kitchen Cosmetology – Learn how to take care of your skin by using food items from your kitchen.
Canning – Learn how to can your own food and prepare one to take home with you.
Scrapbooking – Bring some pictures and make your own scrapbook page. For beginners or experienced scrap bookers.
Ceremonies – This class will teach you about Girl Scout ceremonies. You will also receive a ceremony book to take home with you or to your troop so you can teach the girls these traditions.
Games – Come have fun and learn some games to take back to your troops.
We will have activities Friday night and Saturday night. Details will come later.
Sunday auction – proceeds go to Stevens Ranch for wish list items. All items are donated. If you have an item or service to donate to put in the auction, contact us at gsadultfunweekend@gmail.com or bring with you to camp. You can pay for auction items by cash, check or credit card.
